The 5K and 10K Races both start and finish behind the University Center on the UC Santa Barbara campus. Free parking will be available on campus in the Lot 22 parking structure.

Join other runners for a spectacular cross country course that features something for everyone. The 10K course consists of two 5K loops, the first of which winds around the UCSB Lagoon with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. The second loop brings runners to the heart of the UCSB campus with up close views of Storke Tower, Davidson Library and Campbell Hall. The 5K Fun Run/Walk takes in the first loop, allowing runners to start with the 10K racers. Sorry but no dogs are allowed on either loop.

The course includes a multitude of surfaces including trail, pavement and grass. The first 5K loop – the Lagoon Loop, consists of mainly dirt with some pavement. The second 5K loop – the Campus Loop, will feature a little bit of everything with the majority being pavement.
